Description
The successful candidate will be working under the general direction of the Student Services Department; this position is responsible for supporting the successful development and growth of international students within St. Jude’s Academy, an IB World School, in Mississauga, Ontario.
The Program Coordinator will handle multiple tasks, simultaneously, relating to the international student population, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
The Program Coordinator will develop and implement Academic and Social programming that fosters the learning of the English language using engaging and enjoyable approaches.
The Program Coordinator will plan both educational and fun excursions and hands-on workshops to meet the ever-changing needs of international learners.
The Program Coordinator uses prudent judgment to develop credible and meaningful relationships with organizations and/or the community through outreach initiatives and works closely with Student Services to identify opportunities and resolve concerns.
This position requires flexibility in hours (weekdays and some weekends) in order to accommodate the needs of the international student clientele.
