Description

We are seeking supply staff to add to our Maples team. We are looking for individuals with experience working with toddler and preschool aged children that are able to adapt easily to new classroom and children. Individuals must be able to work various shifts ranging between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. Position to commence as soon as possible.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • A member in good standing with The College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE)
  • Up to date level C CPR, WSIB approved
  • Clear criminal reference check and vulnerable sector
  • Up to date immunization- Knowledgeable of the Child Care and Yearly Years Act Regulations
  • Great written and oral communication skills with; children, staff and families
  • Great working in team setting as well as independently

Responsibilities

  • Filling in for staff members who are absent or sick
  • 10:00 am Monday to Friday, unless already covering a shift at the centre
  • Adhere to licensing requirements, program policy and procedures
  • Planning and implementing age appropriate play-based, child initiated activities
  • Maintain organized, safe and clean learning and work environment
